On this page, you will find some examples of the types of work performed by Abseil Access. This is by no means an exhaustive list but it should give you a good idea about what we have achieved in the past and what is possible in the future.
In 2009, Abseil Access completed the installation of ANZ new sign and logo to the world famous stadium. A full overhaul was completed on the sign and backboard. Works included re-painting the backboard a new colour with two part epoxy paint ant the installation of new letters and logo.
In 2009, Abseil Access completed the re-branding of signage for Coles. This involved removing the old logo and re-centering the sign. Abseil Access completed this on all signs with difficult access throughout NSW.
In 2010, Abseil Access Installed new signage for McAfee at their new location in North Sydney.
In 2009/2010, Abseil Access completed the installation of height safety systems as part of ACI operations compliance upgrade. Systems installed included fall arrest anchors, horizontal life lines, guard rail fencing and access ladders.
In 2009, Abseil Access completed the installation of height safety systems for Baulderstone on their Triniti Business Campus Project. Systems installed included fall arrest anchors, guard rail fencing, rope access anchors and access ladders.
In early 2009, Abseil Access was used to change out faulty glass on one of the most iconic buildings on the Sydney skyline. Just prior to the competition of construction it was realised that several of the glass panels installed in the atrium area of the building were faulty. This posed a massive problem for the construction company as it would have been costly and time consuming to close down the surrounding area and re-scaffold in order to complete the glass change.
In 2009, Abseil Access were contracted to carry out an inspection of faulty render on a building façade. The inspection was carried out over several days testing all areas of the structure. Over 100 photos were taken of suspect locations and an extensive report prepared for the client. The findings of the report enabled the client to raise awareness of the significant damage to the building and initiate repairs.
Abseil Access completed the cleaning of the flange beams prior to the installation of bird proofing. This was carried out using both rope access techniques and aid climbing along the flange beams.
In 2010, Abseil Access carried out confined space inspections of various vessels during maintenance shutdown.

In 2008, Abseil Access carried out a delicate painting job inside an office building atrium. Care was taken to protect sensitive art instillations below the work area. Disruption to the comings and goings of building occupants was minimal and the job was completed well within the allotted timeframe.
Remedial Repair | Confined spaces
In 2010, Abseil Access attended a residential building where a defective downpipe was causing water damage to surrounding units. The problem had been on-going for several months as residents were unaware how anyone would achieve access in order to solve the problem. Abseil Access were able to successfully remove and replace the faulty pipe within a single days work, much to the relief of the residents effected.
In 2009, upon completion of construction to a residential building, it was discovered that the elevator was too small to accommodate items of furniture belonging to the new occupants. Abseil Access was called in to lift various items up the fragile façade of the building and manoeuvre them into position. Residents were relived and pleasantly surprised to see how easily their items were lifted into their new homes.
In 2009, the team at Abseil Access were called to the Darwin LNG plant to perform various jobs involving rope access rigging scenarios. These highly successful operations were carried out under the high safety standard expected on refinery sites and with little or no disruption to surrounding works, saving the client literally thousands of dollars in lost time.
